Music and Lyrics Tie the Knot...

We just wanted all our friends, fam and fans to know that Adina Nyree's producer/bassist, Trevor P. Allen (Music) and Adina Nyree (Lyrics) officially tied the knot on January 23, 2010.&nbsp;

We had an intimate wedding of just family and a few friends at the <a href="http://www.safetyharborspa.com" target="_new">Safety Harbor Resort and Spa in Safety Harbor, FL.&nbsp; We highly recommend Safety Harbor if you are planning a wedding or a simple getaway.&nbsp; The staff was beyond excellent. The spa services and amenities are wonderful.

We got a quick little honeymoon in Punta Cana, RD at the Gran Bahia Resort Complex... another wonderful place. The weather was perfect providing us with 85 degree days, tropical breezes and plenty of sunshine.&nbsp; A musch needed break from New York's not so pleasant winter.

We are looking forward to our life together and we look forward to creating great music together that we hope you'll come to love.

-With Love,
Adina Nyree and Trev

Phew...

It's been a while since my first post but I'll get better with regular updates in the next couple months. Trev and I are even going to try and give you a weekly brunch blog. We're foodies and Sundays tend to be our brunch time together, unless there's a gig. We'll let you know where we've been and what we ate and what sat just right with us!&nbsp; Stay tuned!

So the last few weeks were quite the whirlwind for Trev and me, but somehow we managed to get the Certified Organic album, mastered and manufactured in time for the November 14th CD release party at the Bass Line Jazz Club, in my home town of Mount Vernon, which turned out to be a great night despite the rainy weather. And then on Sunday, we were joined by more familiar faces at Trev and my wedding shower. Such a beautiful love-filled weekend. We couldn't ask for anything more.

Saturday, I was happy to see so many of your familiar faces and lots of you new faces too! It would seem you all really enjoyed the show. My future sister-in-law commented she doesn't even really like poetry but really enjoyed the music and show. Ha... we'll make her a poetry convert yet!&nbsp; I've been getting calls that folks are really loving the album, so hopefully everyone we'll spread the word and we'll make it a huge success! I just finished submitting our music for digital distribution to iTunes, Rhapsody and a few other online distribution companies.&nbsp; Hopefully if all goes well, Certified Organic will be available digitally everywhere soon!

Talk to you soon!

When it all comes together...

The Certified Organic project is over two years in the making. Many artists can become dejected trying to bring their &quot;babies&quot; to fruition. Every once in a while, even for me who is normally upbeat and cheer filled, found myself wavering on the project.

Now that the project is just about wrapped except for some fine tweaking here and there, I can truly say, each set back opened a door for greater possibilities. If it takes you two years or twelve... just believe in your project and press on.
It's well worth a few set backs when it all comes together.
